These are great if you’re looking for tall and narrow arborvitae. Ignore the reviewers who give these a bad rating based upon deer eating them. Deer will eat anything in the winter.

A very cool evergreen that adds elegance to your garden all year round! This narrow columnar selection of 'Wintergreen' has excellent hardiness and dark green winter foliage color. More narrow than Emerald Green. Selected by Art Boe of Faribault, MN, it is resistant to winter burn.

Deer eat these in the winter. I’ll never plant another arborvitae again, unfortunately.

I planted 5 of these three years ago and they have tripled in size. They are beautiful. They stay green and aren't bothered by snow. I highly recommend.

These are beautiful, fast-growing trees. Deer love to eat all varieties of arborvitae, especially in Winter, so I don't understand why customers are factoring this into their ratings! Proven Winners cannot control the fact that people aren't protecting their trees from wildlife. Spray the trees with a non-toxic, organic repellent and they will do fine.

We ordered 9 of these in the spring of 2020. They grew exceptionally well over the summer. Unfortunately, in the fall rabbits ate two of them down to just nubs. So far they do not seem to be growing back. Otherwise they have been great so far and will hopefully be good privacy screens in a few years.
