Professional Growing Information These flowers are bright and beautiful and are very attractive in a hanging pot or on the ground. I have mine in a wheelbarrow and it’s just popping with color. The butterflies and hummingbirds absolutely love them.

Maintenance Notes:Pentas is best grown in good, moist soil, but it can tolerate poorer soils as well. They prefer a pH close to 7, so consider amending soil with pelletized lime if planting in an area with highly acidic soil. They are quite heat tolerant. An application of controlled release fertilizer at planting should be sufficient, but an additional application in mid-summer will help the plants thrive into Fall.
