A 10" - 14" spread as published on the PW website?? I think not! Now in their third season, my Daisy Mays are over 3' in diameter and nearly 3' tall--and I have not fertilized them. They are absolutely covered in blooms (well, except for where a rabbit has nibbled a few). I highly recommend this plant for its prolific flowering, but think carefully about its location and spacing. I have moved one to alleviate crowding already and will consider dividing the other two next spring to enjoy the beauty in other spots as well. Banana Cream II is another vigorous plant that is generous with gorgeous blooms.

Though she may look like a typical daisy at first, look again at her large, snow white flowers which blanket the plant and all the buds along each stem. Because of better branching and many side buds, this daisy blooms much longer than typical daisies do, often all summer long if deadheaded. Stronger flower power = Daisy May!

I planted 5 plants last fall from pint size containers and this summer they are full size and covered in blooms. No one knows they are daisies people keep asking what my beautiful white flowers are around my birdbath. When I tell them daisies they say mine don’t look like that

I always wanted daisies!! I thought I did my homework. I live by the woods, I get a lot of deer. For some reason I thought this plant was deer resistant. Well it is not, I had a beautiful plant yesterday, at least 4 blooms. Today all gone, deer had a feast. :( we only planted it a week ago. Ok well no more daisies.

Absolutely beautiful, but they would not stay up on their own. If you had a hard rain or gave the lawn a good soaking with a sprinkler, that was it. They would fall over and lay all over everything else in the garden. I ripped them out and donated them to a Eagle Scout beautification project. I love gardening, but I don’t like to fuss with cages and staking, etc.

I am good in the flower garden but this plant died almost immediately. I wasn't over or under watering. I thought the heat might be too extreme, so I made a tent type cover for shade it from midday sun. Even the roots were dead when I dug it up today. Soil was slighly moist but not dry. Stumped by this plant. Would love suggestions.

Best daisy i've ever planted, only light pruning needed. It does split if it's not in direct sunlight for 10+ hours a day, so put this in a super sunny spot and you won't have a problem.

I am so impressed with this plant. I bought 3 Daisy May plants (there were only 3 at the nursery) and 4 of another variety of Shasta Daisy (not Proven Winners). There happened to be a heat wave (3 days at 100 degrees or above) a couple days after I planted them, and the Daisy May plants did great! No wilting whatsoever. The other variety struggled and wilted badly. I love the large blooms. Wish I had been able to get 7 of these instead of just 3.

This plant is amazing! I had to get 2 more because after 1 year of planting from a one gallon size pot it is almost 3 foot tall and very showy, just imagine a huge bush of daisies! Thank you Proven Winners!!
