I first bought this plant last spring because I was attracted to the deep purple color (mine actually had a trim of hot pink around the edge of the leaves). anyway i wanted a shade plant for under my tree. i bought 3. It was very surprising to find they grew very large, very viney, and the leaves looked amazing. Everyone always asked me about them. They lasted way into fall as well. just wish they were perennial because I could not find them again this year but I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a unique addition to a shaded area. BEAUTIFUL!
