    Maintenance Notes:

While newer Argyranthemum are much more heat tolerant than older varieties, they will still do best with cool night temperatures. Our varieties have been selected to flower continuously without deadheading. If you do live in a hot climate the plants may flush out of bloom if the night temperatures are regularly staying in the high 70's or above. The plants should continue to do fine, give them a trim using a sharp pair of scissors or pruning shears (think of it as giving your plant a haircut). This will help induce more branching and fresh growth and the plants will be at their best when night temperatures drop and the plants begin to bloom again.

An application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.

    • I have been growing these 3 years 1. Blooms from spring to frost 2. Most important for me “Deer” never touch these 3. They do get less blooms in high heat but I deadhead and it bounces back giving more blooms 4. It is beautiful and shows off with the bright yellow daisies I highly recommend these especially if you have deer They get big and that’s why they steal the show!

    • I have planted these two years in a row and am looking for them again (COVID-19 is causing some shopping challenges). Both years I planted them around Mother's Day and lasted until around Halloween. That's nearly unheard of for Wisconsin weather. Plus, the Japanese beetles stay away from them. I love these! I trim a few every week for a mini bud vase for my office at work. They're a lovely shade of yellow. They get full sun in my garden and the plants triple or more in size. No maintenance necessary.

    • I have planted Golden Butterflies in my front yard the last few years in full sun and they have done extremely well. They reached full size and lasted well into Fall next to our pumpkin decor. I absolutely love them and highly recommend them! Bright yellow is the perfect splash of color! Hope you try them and enjoy them like I do.

    • I grew this plant last year because Laura with Garden Answer gave it a rave review and I trust her opinion. I was amazed at how many flowers this plant produces. It also bloomed constantly from spring to fall. If anyone needs a show stopper color and floral display in their garden this plant is for you. I can't wait for warmer temperatures so I can get this planted.
