These survived freezing temps between 9-30deg for at least 30 days during the last 3 winter seasons. Planted in 7 and 10 gallon fabric pots. The only insulation they had were the leaves that fell from the trees sitting on top of the plants. I’m assuming that they only grow as much as the size of the pot you have them in so mine didn’t make it to the full size like others have mentioned. Great plants for the bees and other pollinators. They are shielded from the most hottest part of the day as I’m finding with many plants that PW has said they need full sun when they really don’t and is why they do much better in dappled 2-4pm shade. Very drought tolerant too.
