This plant is beyond hardy; in Zone 6 it survived a New England winter and doubled in size the following year with a displayed of delicate yellow flowers that the pollinators enjoyed. It requires little to no maintenance; definitely a staple in my garden..

We've been delighted with the strength and show and the sheer fact that the deer actually stay away from it! I plan on using more this year since it did so well and lasted through our wet winter. It's already beginning to anchor areas in our border that are bare still this spring.
